ISLAMIC ACHIEVEMENTS:
MEDICINE
SCIENCE
MATHEMATICS
GEOGRAPHY
ARTS
LITERATURE
I believe the most important Islamic achievement is medicine. My reasoning for this is that the Muslims were the first people to put research and logic into making medicines and cures, instead of using crazy remedies. Also, they discovered that diseases were airborne and could travel from person to person, so they made a quarantined hospital.
These cultures had an influence on many of these achievements because they created them, but the Muslim world innovated them. For example, the Greeks had many advances in astronomy and the Muslims made tools and new concepts to improve it. The Romans and Persians influenced science, medicne, and literature.

Impact on Western Europe
The Crusades had a very large impact on Western Europe. For example, the crusades brought the end to feudalism because people stayed where they fought and their land was left untended. Also, the king's gained more power. Another impact the crusades was that more knowledge was exposed. When people traveled from the Holy Land and back, they brought new knowledge with them that spread. The king's gained more power and there was trade explosion. New weapons were introduced like gun powder, canons, and guns were created.
